Interpretation Event held at London Metropolitan Archives - 'The Work of the Pensions Archive Trust' - Sep 2008
Posted: 24 September 2008
Board members of The Pensions Archive Trust (PAT) took part in a talk which took place at London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) on the 16th of October 2008 to promote the work of PAT.
The talk, directed by Jan Pimblett of LMA's Interpretation Team, highlighted the importance of the material collected by PAT for family, local and social historians alike and some of the research opportunities available. The event was attended by researchers who wished to know more about how they could use pensions material for their genealogy research purposes, and a lively discussion took place afterwards about the role of pensions records in documenting the financial history of the UK.
