Newsletter No.1 - December 2012 New deposit from The Pensions Management InstituteThe Pensions Archive Trust is pleased to announce that a significant collection of archive material from The Pensions Management Institute has now been deposited in the Pensions Archive, which will be a major addition to its existing collections. The material includes minutes of the Institute’s Council and various committees, technical responses, publicity materials and a photograph archive, dating back to the Institute’s foundation in 1976. The Pensions Management Institute, which sets and promotes standards and provides training for the UK's pension and employee retirement benefits professionals and trustees, is the latest pension industry body to deposit material with the Pensions Archive, which already holds the archive material of the National Association of Pension Funds, the Pensions Research Accountants Group, the Society of Pension Consultants, the Pensions Policy Institute and the Pensions Institute. It is hoped that the collection will be catalogued and accessible to users by early 2013.
